Step-by-Step

Guide🎨

Step 1

Cut a strip of coloured paper to match the width of your toilet roll.
Tip:
The strip should wrap around the roll with a little overlap. Use a pencil and ruler to mark the edges before cutting.

Someone traces the width of a toilet roll onto yellow paper using a coloured pencil.
Someone applies glue to a toilet roll.

Step 2

Apply glue evenly over the roll – the Pritt Glue Stick works best. Wrap the paper strip around it. The end should overlap slightly.
Tip:
Use bright colours to give your monster its own quirky look!

Step 3

Glue down the end of the paper strip, pressing it onto the already wrapped part. You now have the monster’s body ready!

Step 4

Time to go wild! Cut out hair, horns, skirts, or arms from colourful (crêpe) paper. Make bendy arms or silly antennae using chenille stems. Glue everything to the roll with the Pritt Glue Stick.
Tip:
Twist the chenille stems into spirals – it makes your monster extra cheeky!

Step 5

Make your monster’s face: stick on googly eyes and cut out teeth or mouths from coloured or white paper. Add a wild feather headdress for extra flair. Pritt Multipurpose Glue works best for this step.
Tip:
Use different-sized eyes for an extra wacky expression.

Add any final touches: more feathers, sequins, or dots. Use the Pritt Glue Stick – it's ideal for small details and keeps everything in place.
