Snowflake Craft: Step-by-Step❄️
Step 1
Place two wide wooden spatulas on top of each other to form a large plus sign. Once you're happy with the positioning, lift the top spatula, apply a thin layer of Pritt Multipurpose Glue to the centre of the bottom one, and press them together. Slightly misaligned? Don’t worry! You can still adjust them while the glue is wet.
Step 2
Glue two more spatulas across the first pair to create more branches for your snowflake. Try using longer, thinner wooden sticks this time. Mixing lengths and widths gives your snowflake craft a more dynamic shape.
Did you know?
Pritt Multipurpose Glue isn’t just great for snowflake crafts! It’s ideal for many other craft projects using paper, card, fabric, or wood – like birthday party crafts. And if something ends up a little off, don’t worry: the glue allows for easy repositioning while it’s still wet.
Step 3
Now that your snowflake has its basic shape, it’s time to decorate. Choose the buttons you’d like to use and apply thin lines of glue along each spatula. Press the buttons on firmly, one arm at a time, so the glue doesn’t dry before you place them.
Step 4
Once all the wooden sticks are covered in buttons, you're done! Let everything dry completely. If you'd like to hang your snowflake, simply tie a piece of string around one of the arms. And just like that, your winter decoration is ready.
Tip: Want to make it even more colourful? Paint the wooden spatulas before gluing them together – light blue or turquoise work beautifully. You can also add some sparkle with craft gems or glitter.
