Bunny Craft Ideas:
Step-by-Step 🎨

Step 1

Begin with the cardboard. It’s perfect as a stable foundation for bunny art and craft ideas. Place the glass upside down on the cardboard and trace around it with the pencil. This will be your bunny’s face. Now add two bunny ears. Feel free to make them as short or long as you like.
Tip:
A stencil helps ensure that the ears are the same size, but you can also draw them freehand. Your bunny craft will be uniquely adorable either way!

Step 2

Using scissors, carefully cut around the outlines you’ve drawn before, creating the head and ears of your bunny. Take your time, especially around the curves of the ears.

Step 3

Now for the fun part! Choose a coloured feather for each ear. Apply a small amount of Pritt All-Purpose Glue to the back of the feathers and press them firmly onto the ears. Once dry, glue them to the back of the bunny’s head. Make sure that the feathered side faces forward. Tip: Choose either complementary colours for a cute tone-in-tone look, or contrasting ones for a bold effect.
For your Easter bunny’s face, cut small oval shapes from the toned paper. You’ll need two each for the eyes and the snout. Try using contrasting colours to make the features really stand out! Position the ovals carefully on your bunny’s face and secure them with your Pritt Glue Stick.

Step 4

Now, it’s time to make your Easter bunny craft truly come to life! Attach googly eyes to the eye shapes you created earlier. For the nose, select a button in a colour you like and attach it to the snout shape using Pritt All-Purpose Glue. Tip: Want to add even more personality to your bunnies? Cut a tiny, curved strip from a contrasting paper and adhere it under the nose to create a bright bunny smile. You can also draw a smile on the snout with a pen.

Step 5

Every well-dressed bunny needs a collar! Cut a wide strip of coloured crêpe paper and gather one end to create a ruffled effect. Turn your bunny craft face-down, apply glue to the gathered end and press it into place on the bottom of the bunny’s head.

Good to know!

For perfectly positioned ears and collar, you can fix them with clothes pegs while the glue sets. But be careful not to press too firmly – you wouldn’t want the pegs to become a permanent part of your Easter bunny craft.

Step 6

To add the finishing touches, cut six thin strips of coloured paper for your bunny’s whiskers. These can be straight or slightly curved for a more natural bunny look. Attach three whiskers to each side of the snout, using the Pritt Glue Stick. Looking for extra individual Easter bunny art and craft ideas? Use Pritt Colour Sticks on the whiskers or the ears for additional colour accents!

Step 7

For the final step, carefully poke a small hole between the bunny’s ears. You can use a hole punch or a thick needle. Thread a cord through the hole and tie the ends together. Voilà! Your first bunny craft decoration is complete. Make several bunnies in different sizes and colours until you’ve gathered a whole group of charming rabbits for your Easter tree.
