Christmas Cards 🎨

Step 1

Take the white writing paper and paint it in various shades of green. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.

Tip:
You don't need pristine white paper for painting; scrap paper works just as well – for example, the back of old envelopes.

Step 2

Cut out the trunk of your Christmas tree from the brown craft paper.
Adults should help with cutting and trimming.

Step 3

Using the Pritt glue stick, attach the cut-out tree trunk to the bottom of the greeting card. If you don't have a ready-made card, simply cut one out of cardstock. Draw guidelines on the cardstock with a pencil and ruler, then cut along these lines. The ideal size is 4 x 6 inches, but you can make your handmade Christmas Card larger or smaller if you prefer.

Step 4

Cut the green-painted paper into small strips. These will become the pine branches of your Christmas tree in the next step.

Step 5

Glue the cut strips onto your card in a tree shape. Start at the bottom near the trunk and arrange the strips so they overlap loosely.
