Have you ever gotten a card in the mail? We send cards to our friends and family for special days like birthdays or just to show we care. In today’s project, we will make a beautiful card with paper flowers inside that pop up when the card is opened! Be sure to follow the pop-up card instructions very carefully. This is great project to make and give to friends and family, for a birthday, as a thank-you note, or just to say hello. Who will you send your pop-up card to? Remember to have a look at our other fun projects!

Materials:

  • Print out the attached documents

Tools:

  • A handy Pritt Stick
  • Scissors

Steps:

Step 1

Colour in all the flowers on the printed-out pages.  Make the flowers as pretty as you can. Use paint, crayons, pencils or any combination you like.

Step 2

Cut out all the flowers from the printed-out crafting templates.

Step 3

Once we have the template, we must fold along all the solid lines of the flowers.

Step 4

Next, we cut along all the dotted lines on the flowers.

Step 5

Follow the pop-up card instructions on the print-out, and glue your pop-up flowers into the card.

Step 6

Once you have glued all the flowers into place, you are ready to write a letter. Then you can send it via the post. This is a great way to show someone how much they mean to you!

And that's it!

We hope you have lots of flower folding fun with your pop up card.

We would love to see pictures of your flowers. You can ask your mum or dad to post pictures on our Facebook wall at “Prittworld”.
