Backstory:

The pairs game is a game which can be played to increase concentration and train memory.

Rules:

The pairs game can be played by a single player or by multiple players.
Start the game by placing all the cards face down on a surface. A turn is played when a player flips over two cards and places them facing up so that all players can see. If the player turns over two cards that do not match, both cards must be turned down again on the same spot.
If the player turns over a pair of matching cards in a single turn, the player wins the pair of cards and gets another turn.
The objective of the game is to turn over as many pairs of matching cards as possible. The winner is the player who collects the highest number of pairs.
In the single player mode, the objective is to identify all pairs in the shortest period of time possible

Step 1

Colour in all the images on the printed out pages if you wish to. Do not colour in the white squares. It is important to colour in the matching images very precisely so that they look exactly the same.

Tip: Colouring in is not necessary if you printed in colour.

Step 2

Cut out all the images from the documents that have been printed out and coloured in.

Step 3

Apply Pritt Glue to the images that have been coloured in and stick them to the squares.

Tip: Use the numbers to work out where images should be stuck.

Step 4:

Learn the rules of the game and then you are ready to play. Have fun training your memory and concentration!

That’s it!

You are ready to have some concentration fun.

We would love to see pictures of your projects. You can ask your parents to post pictures on our Facebook wall at “Pritt world”.
